Text Box: Dr. Rothenberg and Collegues Speak to Thousands at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine
Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy, Metabolic Cardiology, Bio-Identical Hydrocortisone Replacement Therapy, Thyroid Optimization, Unified theory of Wellness, Vitamins and Skin Aging. . .
these were the topics presented by Dr. Rothenberg and his colleagues at the December 2004 International A4M Medical Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The following is a brief summary of the dynamic lectures given by Dr. Rothenberg and his colleagues.
HGH Replacement Therapy: Growth hormone (GH) levels usually peak at age 15 and start to decline at age 21 but significant decline occurs usually around age 35 and beyond. GH is necessary for a healthy adult life. Decreased GH contributes to decreased mobility, decreased muscle strength, decreased immune function and more incidence of cancer, and decreased emotional and psychological function. Adequate levels of GH increase muscle strength, increase exercise capacity, decrease inflammation in the body, improve immune function, improve memory, improve alertness, decrease insulin resistance, improve wound healing and decrease visceral fat. The amount of GH in the body can determine life potential. Oral HGH is not effective because it does not contain enough HGH to make any significant difference in growth hormone levels. Usually women need a higher dose of HGH as compared to their male counterparts, for optimal clinical results. The average daily female dose of HGH for a woman is 0.6mg/day and the average daily dose for a male is 0.4mg. Until something better comes along, HGH replacement therapy is recommended, as appropriate, for the duration of a person’s life as they age. HGH can give a person a better quality of life as the years progress.

Keeping your body well hydrated is the first step in keeping your immune system functioning well. Try to avoid soda pop and alcohol as much as possible.
Eat a healthy diet. Next to giving your body enough water, eating healthy foods in the right quantities and at the right time of day is vital.
