Text Box: YOUR BRAIN AND CELLULAR PHONE RADIATION
By: Kathleen Becker, MS, RN

Did you know that approximately 138 million people use cellular phones in the United States today and there are reports that there are more than a million new subscribers every month? In about two years, it is estimated that more than a billion people in the world will be using cellular phones. Although cell phones have offered convenience and changed the way we communicate, one has to wonder if there are any long term health effects associated with using a cell phone and if so, because of the large number of cell phone users, could any possible long term health effects cause an epidemic.

On December 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th, 2002, Dr. Rothenberg was a keynote speaker at the 10th International Congress on Anti-Aging and Bio-Medical Technologies. The conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada with thousands of attendees from around the world.
Dr. Rothenberg spoke on Hormone Replacement and Optimization in Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Rothenberg’s lectures were well-received and seminar delegates sought his expertise throughout the conference. The following is a partial summary of his educational sessions.
Aging is a disease which can be prevented or reversed and we are not prisoners of our genetic destiny. We age because our hormones decline, our hormones don’t decline because we age. Human growth hormone is necessary for healthy adult life and growth hormone replacement therapy can prevent and even reverse some aspects of aging. Testosterone replacement therapy is safe and provides dramatic benefits to both males and females. The goal of anti-aging medicine is to maintain physical and mental function for the duration of a person’s life.
The goal of anti-aging medicine is to increase HealthSpan not just lifespan. People want to be strong, vigorous, happy, content, creative and spiritually satisfied throughout their lives. No one wants to live longer with debility, chronic illness or cognitive impairment. Anti-aging medicine attempts to prevent rather than treat the symptoms of disease such as coronary heart disease, cancer, dementia, insulin resistance (type II diabetes) degenerative arthritis, degenerative body composition, osteoporosis, immune system decline and loss of libido and sexual function. Anti-aging medicine focuses on treating the cause of disease rather than just the symptoms of disease.
Anti-aging medicine can improve lifestyle by utilizing cutting edge technologies to detect, prevent and treat
